EPS provides a typical R value of 4.17 por pulgada (K factor = 0.24) at a mean temerature of 40 F. Unlike that of many other insulation products, the R value of EPS insulation is permanent due to the cellular structure containg only stabilized air. Aging has no effect upon the performance of EPS providing long-term solutions in the marketplace.
