Congratulations to the employees that recently accepted new roles within General Insulation Co. We will be highlighting their new responsibilities, careers, and families in several posts over the next two weeks. The first employee we are featuring is Scott Brown.
“I grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts. I was involved with athletics while attending Minuteman Regional Vocational High School. Track, basketball, and baseball kept me pretty busy. After graduation, I started my career with Harvard Community Health Plan in their Building Services Department before being recruited by Scott Campbell to join General Insulation in December of 1997. I spent my first 19 years with GIC at Branch 1 (Malden), working a variety of positions, the last as Sales Manager. In February of 2017 I accepted the General Manager position for the Auburn, MA location and have been in that role since. Starting in July 2022 I begin my new role as the General Manager of the Malden location. I’m excited to be heading back to my original branch and continuing the great tradition of Branch 1.
As for outside the office, I currently live in Littleton, MA with my wife Linda and our children Nick (20) and Emily (18). Nick Is a sophomore at Nichols College and Emily is a freshman at Rivier University. I live in the greatest neighborhood in the world with pool parties, bonfires, and lots of golf! If it involves being outdoors and having a good time you can count me in! I may have another title to add to my list this summer as I am running for a seat on the Littleton Parks & Recreation commission. Local politics has always been an interest of mine so I am excited to hopefully get some votes and give back to my community.”
