Dan was born and raised on the east side of Cleveland. In 2008, he graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management. Eventually, Dan went on to graduate from The Ohio University with a Master of Business Administration degree in 2015. Dan got his start at an early age from his family’s business, Clark Insulation Company. Dan started working in the warehouse at Clark when he was 15 and continued through high school and college, eventually moving up the ranks to inside sales. General Insulation acquired Clark in May of 2008, and Dan transferred to GIC’s Columbus branch as Operations Manager in Training in 2009. In 2010, he was promoted to General Manager of the Cleveland branch and has been there ever since. In 2014, Dan saw a business opportunity in the Michigan market so he developed a business plan and with the help of Detroit native Monroe Huner (GIC Chicago) opened the Detroit branch on October 1, 2016. Dan is currently the General Manager for both Cleveland and Detroit.
Besides planning for their wedding this fall, Dan and his beautiful fiancé Melanie enjoy watching and playing sports together, their dogs, and traveling.
