Carla joined the General Insulation team in January of 2016. Although she was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, Carla has resided in Southwest Florida for 20+ years and could not imagine settling down elsewhere. Carla excelled in high school, graduating in 3 years, and subsequently attended Florida Southwestern College. She spent the next few years managing her father’s business which gave her the freedom to travel across the US and live in different cities. Unsure of which step was next for her future, she pursued an opportunity working alongside of Stephen Demico at the GIC branch in Fort Myers, Florida. Having no background in the construction industry, she knew this would be a risk. A little over a year later, the risk was worth the reward. Carla is celebrating a promotion to Operations Manager and recently helped the Fort Myers branch bring in the highest sales month in over 6 years. Carla is excited to continue contributing to the branch’s uprising success with her team and sees a very bright future ahead with GIC. When she is not working, Carla enjoys boating, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
