AJ was Born and raised in the small town of Barker, NY, north of Buffalo. Were he spent most of his time in physical activities, including riding dirt bikes, fishing, and pursuing his passion for hockey. His early exposure to hard work began during high school when he joined General Insulation, where he worked in the warehouse during summers.
Upon graduating from high school, AJ embarked on a path that would lead him to excel in the business world. He underwent training in the inside sales role at the Buffalo location of General Insulation. Eager to expand his horizons, he relocated to Erie, PA, where he played a pivotal role in the growth of the business. During his tenure there, he gained valuable experience in various aspects of the industry, including warehouse management, fabrication, and inside sales/operations management.
AJ’s journey then took him to Jacksonville, FL, where he continued to make significant contributions to the company. Despite his shorter stay in Jacksonville than anticipated, he had to return to Buffalo due to personal circumstances. During his five-year hiatus from General Insulation, he took on various construction roles, from building pole barns to commercial concrete and HVAC maintenance. These experiences not only broadened his skill set but also helped him rebuild his life to where it is today.
In 2019, AJ seized the opportunity to rejoin General Insulation, this time at the Auburn, MA location. His dedication and determination were evident as he served as an inside sales representative and operations manager in training, juggling responsibilities while maintaining a strong connection with his daughter back in Buffalo.
In 2020, AJ embarked on a new chapter in Charlotte, NC, as the Operations Manager. This move was significant as it brought his daughter and her mother/stepfather closer, fostering a stronger family bond. Furthermore, AJ found the love of his life and gained a stepson, enriching his personal life. In his spare time, he enjoys “fambam trips” with his kids and wife, cherishing quality family moments. He also indulges in his passions for golf and hockey.
With a blend of professional dedication and a commitment to family, AJ continues to evolve and contribute to both his career and personal life.
