We are pleased to announce that Tyler Colern has been promoted to General Manager of our Rochester NY location, effective 9/1/2024.
Tyler started his career with General Insulation in 2010 at the Erie PA location. Erie had a heavy focus on fabrication & moving material throughout the country. Starting in such a setting, Tyler was quickly able to understand the importance of organization and being a team player. Tyler credits his manager at the time, Bill Arcure, for many of his skills along with a strong work ethic.
In January of 2015 Tyler was given the opportunity to move back home, and to work in the Rochester store. Here he was able to improve his customer service skills and better understand the business. Tyler and his team have increased market share and made General Insulation Rochester a welcoming place.
Outside of work Tyler spends his time being a husband to his wife and best friend Olivia, and a father to their 3 sons, Camden almost 4, Clayton just over 2, and Colby 10 months. In his free time, Tyler can be found somewhere in nature, hunting or hiking.
