Amy was born in Gatesville, Texas and although she lived in Florida for 20 years, Amy still considers Texas home. Amy’s family moved to New Jersey when she was in elementary school and then to Florida in 1995. Amy is 34 and lives in Valrico, a suburb of Tampa, with her 12 year old son, Tres. When she is not at work you can likely find her at the baseball field supporting Tres’s team, The Bullets. Amy is an avid sports fan following the Tampa Bay Rays, Lightning but above all, the Gators! Amy began her career in the industry as an administrative assistant for Parksite, Inc, a solid surfaces distributor for Dupont. She was promoted to Inside Sales Representative and spent the next five years in distribution. Prior to joining GIC, Amy worked for a local competitor, Atlantech, for five years.
