General Insulation Companies fabricates Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Insulation into custom shapes spanning across many industries. EPS provides a typical R value of 4.17 per inch (K factor = 0.24) at a mean temerature of 40 F. Unlike that of many other insulation products, the R value of EPS insulation is permanent due to the cellular structure containg only stabilized air. Aging has no effect upon the performance of EPS providing long-term solutions in the marketplace.
Block and Board are available in any thickness up to 24″, widths to 48″. Densities in 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, and 2.00 pcf.
